I am not self-righteous, but only seek to be dedicated and dedicated in the ranks of Confucian rejuvenation, keep up with the steps and steps, and strive to improve. I think that over the past sixty years, I have indeed been in a state of “only asking for farming, not harvesting”, and have worked together with national scholars (including Taiwan, Hong Kong, mainland China, Southeast Asia, South Korea, Japan, and even around the world). I did a lot, never thinking about it, but I just wanted to be at ease. Teacher Mou said that he was particularly grateful to him throughout his life, but he was just a friend. The teacher is the teacher of Teacher Xiong Shili, and his friend is the teacher of Teacher Tang Junyi. Breeding This is of course the most stringent statement. We don’t have to say much about Xiong Mou’s teacher-child relationship. Only read “Studying Thoughts” “Mr. Mou, who was recorded by Wang Jun, at the age of 85, was grateful to Mr. Xiong during his illness:

The current civilization problem is more complicated and difficult than the Confucians of Song and Ming dynasties. The pure life of Song Mingru was relatively simple. Ouhua is not only unrestrained by civil and scientific knowledge, but also religion. Therefore, it creates a crisis that actually kills the country and the whole country.

 

In January 1970, I discussed the issues of religious communication in the “Chinese Civilization Seminar” in Donghai, and put forward six focus points of communication, which caused Pastor Zhou to publish six articles and talk to me in the “Cosmic Light”. Later, I also responded by publishing “Another talk about Religious Association” in the “Zhihu Monthly”. In the 74th year, the Universe Light came out of the Book Club and compiled it into “Consolidation and Transformation” (Page 350) and published it. In it, a short essay “The Absolute and Probability” written by Pastor Zhou was added, with the subtitle “The Ending Chapter of Dialogue with Neo-Confucianism”.

 

I was still interested in his ending, so I wrote “About the Constant and the Probable” published in Yuhu, and later edited the Wenjin version of “Modern Implications of Confucianism”, 393-397, which can be viewed. At that time, Mr. Mou wrote from Drumbi Hong Kong, saying that my method of discussing religious issues is very good and can express the Confucian position.

 

The second chapter is to ask, what is the main meaning of the way of seeking friendship among teachers in Confucian civilization?

 

It was just now said that Confucianism values ​​character, which is why it is learned from the body and mind and the mind. This is to learn the subject to achieve virtue, which is the learning to become a righteous person and a saint. Confucianism not only emphasizes self-esteem and self-esteem, but also establishes people and things. Therefore, the inner sage will be connected with the outer king. Therefore, if you cannot become a lonely and a widowed friend, you must be a teacher to win friends. Teachers can solve doubts, and learn from friends to be kind. The study of Confucian life must be carried out. The highest energy it activates, it must be from being kind and approachable, and love things. Finally, we reach a state of life with all things as one.
